Eternal Flame Falls的点评
点评：A friend had the Eternal Flame Hike on her bucket list, so we decided to go—and it absolutely lived up to the hype.
It was easy to find and had plenty of parking. I read reviews beforehand and felt well prepared, and I’d agree: this is a moderate hike. You start by heading down the stairs, then follow the trail (look for the flame markers posted along the way). The path runs through a ravine, so expect to get your feet a bit wet. We went the day after a heavy rainfall and were still able to carefully hop across rocks with only minimal soaking. You’ll also need to step over/under a few downed trees and navigate around some roots and embankments—nothing too difficult, but it’s worth noting if you have mobility concerns.
The scenery is beautiful, and seeing the flame tucked behind the waterfall is a really memorable payoff.
On the way back up, the stairs are spaced with little “scenic overlook” pull-offs, which is great for taking a quick breather without blocking others on the steps.
Overall, a fantastic hike and a must-do if you’re in the area—wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet and take your time on the rocky crossings.
