Unforgettable Bonefishing Experience

点评：We had an absolutely unbelievable trip with Talbot’s Adventures. Our captain is seriously knowledgeable and beyond experienced with bonefishing, both fly and spin, and it showed from the very first minute on the water.
For context, I have 33 years of fishing experience in both freshwater and saltwater, and I can confidently say this captain knows these flats and this fishery at an elite level.
My fiance caught her first ever bonefish, and it weighed in at an incredible 9 pounds. On top of that, we landed five more fish that same day. What made it even more special was how much time and care the captain took with her, helping her improve her casting consistency, demonstrating techniques, and doing so with an incredible amount of patience. Watching how kind, encouraging, and understanding he was, and how much fun they both had with it, was honestly beautiful.
We went out again on a tougher day, but even then, the few fish we caught were absolutely incredible, huge fights in 5 feet down to 1 foot of water, the kind of bonefishing you dream about.
One thing I truly respected is that the captain is honest and knows these flats inside and out. The flats are not fishable with spin gear, and I learned that firsthand. I successfully stalked groups of 10 to 40 bonefish multiple times on my own, and even with perfect casts from 30 feet away, the sound of my custom fligs still spooked them. That level of insight only comes from real experience.
Bottom line, listen to this captain. Trust his guidance. If you do, you will have one or several days you will remember for the rest of your life.
