点评：Xmas Eve family lunch 2025.
4 Adults @ over £30/head for 2 courses & 2 childrens choices.
A children's hot dog was presented as 2 cremated sausages in a dry bun, with beans & fries.
The chicken nuggets seemed to present less of a challenge to mess up in preparation.
Starters:
Mushrooms in cheese seemed to be tinned items, including the economy catering standard cheese sauce, that presumably, was also from a tin.
Mains:
Mixed selections from Seasonal Menu & A La Carte menu.
Traditional turkey, roast potatoes & veg with gravy & Yorkshire Pud main course was dry, weirdly tasting, and oddly textured, presumably from components having been prepared & cooked some time previously, kept overly long awaiting later orders and so unappetising that 1 turkey main course was tasted and immediately sent back to the kitchen in its entirely.
Vegetables of the other dishes were similarly oddly flavoured and weirdly textured.
The Sea Bass was presented as 2 over-cooked, dry fillets with a dose of sauce that had already partially dried on the plate. Its accompanying roast potatoes were so overly cooked oddly textured and so dark that we felt obliged to ask the waitress whether they were in fact sweet potatoes. The broccoli had actually been burnt black.
The chicken & mushroom pie was oddly sweet with similarly oddly tasting and textured veg.
Honestly, a major disappointment.
At over £30 for 2 courses, Toby Carvery does a way tastier offering at less than half the price.
The bill came to over £130 with 3 beers, even after a turkey main was rejected.

其他菜肴中的蔬菜味道和口感也同样怪异。
鲈鱼端上来时是两块过熟、干巴巴的鱼柳，淋上的酱汁已经部分干涸在盘子里了。配菜的烤土豆也烤得过火，口感怪异，颜色深得我们不得不问服务员它们是不是红薯。西兰花竟然烤焦了。
鸡肉蘑菇派味道怪异，甜得发腻，配菜的蔬菜味道和口感也同样怪异。
说实话，非常令人失望。
两道菜就要30多英镑，而Toby Carvery的菜品味道好得多，价格却不到这里的一半。
即使我们拒绝了火鸡主菜，加上三杯啤酒，账单也超过了130英镑。
简直糟糕透了。
食物差得令人震惊。
