点评：I visited Mekar Bhuana Studio in Denpasar for a two-day extensive gamelan study, and I am so happy with the approach and the materials learned. I learned about the history of Gamelan music in Bali whith a live demonstration on a huge collections of Balinese gamelan set, then i took practical classes in wich i learned how to play different instruments, including drums and bambou related instruments, as well as the theory behind the composition including modes and rythms and notation. The teachers are all skilled and have amazing communication skills, and I felt at every moment that the program was tailored to my need focussing on what I wanted to learn instead of providing a standard class. They also provide me with a lot of materials and links that will allow me to go deeper into this topic. The community in Mekar Bhuana is really friendly, helpful, and dedicated to this amazing art. It was a great, productive, inspiring, and full of culture and art experience. Thank you, Mekar Bhuana Family!
