Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre的点评
点评：Had to go to Westminster Lodge swimming pool as I couldn't get to my usual pool. I have to say it was a terrible experience. Firstly it is expensive, £7.80 for a swim is a lot. Secondly they have a 'changing village' which is certainly not my preference as would prefer single sex changing rooms. The changing village was filthy with ingrained dirt in the floor tiles and the toilets weren't any better. The swimming pool itself is okay however it is badly organised. When you book you have to select the speed of lane you want, i.e. fast, medium or slow, rather than swim in the lane appropriate to the speed of the other swimmings present. The lanes are all double lanes rather than segregated into single lanes which makes it easier to have 'fast/medium fast/medium etc' so the medium lane was full of mixed ability swimmers, as was the fast lane. The lanes were very busy and had the faster club swimmers overtaking in the middle which made the whole thing rather dangerous.
The showers afterwards, those that were working, were absolutely filthy with mold all up the walls, along with the congealed lumps of shampoo and clumps of hair. I foolishly tried a hair dryer to dry my hair however couldn't locate one that worked.
I would urge anyone wanting a good swimming experience to try elsewhere.
