A very good museum. Needs help
Lancashire Infantry Museum的点评
点评：Do not be put off by the reviews that mention security and ID. Just book 2 days in advance and take some ID - extremely easy to do. Admission fees are low. Ideal for groups or couples of any age. We were there for just over an hour, but I would recommend at lease 2 hours.
The guide was very welcoming and knowledgeable, keen for us to take photos - especially of the information boards so we could digest the information after the visit.
Displays are well laid out and feature some unique and interesting items. This is an old historic building, and the displays are done to match.
We were told that funding may be withdrawn in 2030, so the museum needs all the support and donations it can get. It would be a disaster for this old building to disappear. Although the exhibits could move, the brilliant regimental chapel will be lost.
