Friendly volunteers put on a great show for us!
布里奇救生站的点评
点评：My partner and I walked here from Ryde via the coastal path (highly recommend) hoping to have a wander round the lifeboat station. When we got there, they were setting up for an event - the naming ceremony for their new D-class lifeboat! We went to get lunch and when we came back the ceremony was in full swing, and we got to see some prizes given out for some incredibly brave volunteers. After the ceremony, they did a demonstration of the D-class's maneuverability which basically boiled down to doing doughnuts and weaving in and out of the pier. It was awesome!
While our visit wasn't what we expected, it was really cool to see this important day in the history of the station, and we were struck by how polite and friendly the volunteers were to us even when they were busy setting up for their event and presumably very stressed. Congrats on the new lifeboat, Bembridge! We'll have to come back and visit the station proper another time.

虽然我们的参观并未如预期那般，但能见证空间站历史上的这一重要时刻还是非常令人兴奋的。令我们印象深刻的是，即便志愿者们正忙着为活动做准备、想必压力也很大，他们对我们依然礼貌又友善。恭喜贝姆布里奇迎来新的救生艇！我们得下次再回来参观车站本身。
