Early Check in Can be a Problem at Campground

点评：This is a very quiet and beautiful campground with lots of shade. We were in site #42. The site was private and spacious with a nice fire pit and picnic table. The pad was asphalt and level front to back but not side to side. We had to raise one side up with two boards (see picture). We had FHU with water and sewer at the back, no threads for sewer, and power in the middle including 50 amp. Our Verizon phone service was awful and there is no WIFI. We are a 40ft 5th wheel and found the roads doable but with a couple of tight turns. The road into the campground is two way but quite narrow, especially if you were to meet up with another rig. The road edges drop off a bit so passing could be tight. The roads inside the campground are one way. If you are a tent camper, this park would be a perfect place to camp. The tent sites are really beautiful! They are quite private and set in a beautiful forest.
NOTE- Make sure you don’t arrive too early for check in at 3. We arrived at 1:15 and had to wait in our truck with our rig parked in the parking lot(luckily not too many car) until 2:20 when they allowed us to check in. I’m guessing they might be so strict because of the narrow, 4+ mile road into and out of the campground.This would ensure those who are checking out have left.
My review is based on 5 years of full time RVing with a 40 ft 5th wheel with 4 slides pulled with a dually, diesel truck.
