点评:Recently, we planned a trip covering Salasar Balaji followed by Khatu Shyam Ji.
Having heard about the usually long queues for darshan—and since there is no VIP ticket facility—we decided to go early in the morning. We left our hotel around 6:00 am, parked our car at a designated area some distance away, and walked to the temple.
On the way, there are many shops offering to keep your shoes. However, most of them insist that you purchase prasad from their shop in return. Personally, I prefer not to buy prasad unless it is formally offered to the deity by a pujari inside the temple. The situation was similar here. I noticed a few people throwing flowers from a distance, but those flowers eventually ended up being trampled under the feet of devotees, which felt disrespectful.
As for the darshan itself, it was a truly divine and peaceful experience. The queue was around 20–25 minutes long at that time, and we completed the darshan by approximately 7:15 am.
Later we purchased a small toy for our son from the shops and few photos of khatu shyam ji
