点评：We visited in June 2026. With an entry fee of just ₹20 per adult, this is a simple yet worthwhile stop for anyone travelling between Coonoor and Ooty.
The attraction is essentially a viewpoint offering panoramic views of the surrounding Nilgiri Hills. One of its biggest advantages is its accessibility—the viewpoint is located right off the main road, requiring virtually no walking. This makes it suitable for visitors of all ages, including senior citizens and those with limited mobility.
The viewing platform includes a telescope, but in our opinion, the best views are enjoyed from the open outer section, where you can take in the scenery without any obstruction.
Of course, the experience depends heavily on the weather. If the skies are clear and the fog stays away, the views can be spectacular, stretching far across the rolling hills and valleys of the Nilgiris. On a clear day, it is a pleasant place to pause, admire the landscape, and enjoy some of the region's natural beauty.
While it is not a destination in itself, it makes for an excellent quick stop on the journey between Ooty and Coonoor.
