点评：Ratangad Fort is a historic hill fort located in the Sahyadri mountain range of Maharashtra, India. It is one of the most popular trekking destinations in the Ahmednagar (Ahilyanagar) district and offers spectacular views of the surrounding Western Ghats.
The fort's strategic location provided excellent views of the surrounding valleys and mountain passes. It was particularly valuable for monitoring movements through the Sahyadri region.
The fort has remnants of its old entrances, including impressive stone structures built to protect the fort.
