点评：Our pilgrimage from Canada to the sacred lands of South India was guided not by distance, but by devotion. Five of us embarked on this soul-stirring journey to Kalahasti, Tirupati, and the ancient temples of Tamil Nadu, carrying prayers shaped by faith and gratitude.
After the powerful darshan at **Sri Kalahasteeswara**, our second stop was **Tiruchanur**, home to **Sri Padmavaty Thayar at Alamelumangapuram**—a moment that felt divinely ordained rather than planned.
Goddess **Padmavati Thayar**, the eternal consort of **Lord Venkateswara (Balaji)**, radiates a compassion that instantly calms the heart. Seated in serene grace, she embodies abundance, prosperity, and motherly protection. It is widely believed—and deeply felt—that her blessings are sought for **wealth, harmony, and fulfillment**, and that she lovingly grants permission before devotees ascend Tirumala for Lord Balaji’s darshan. Standing before her, this belief no longer felt like legend, but living truth.
The temple atmosphere was filled with devotion and quiet strength. As we offered our prayers, there was a profound sense that obstacles were being gently removed and paths quietly aligned. For pilgrims, beginning the Tirupati journey with Padmavaty Thayar’s darshan truly feels like completing the first, essential step of a sacred promise.
For us, visiting Tiruchanur was not just a stop on an itinerary—it was a blessing that set the spiritual tone for the rest of our pilgrimage. With hearts full and minds at peace, we left Alamelumangapuram feeling embraced by divine grace, confident that our journey ahead was now sanctified.
