Horrible, commercial exploitation of simple believers

点评：Absolutely horrible experience at Tirupati this time. I’ve visited more than 10 times in the past and never experienced anything this badly managed before.
We entered around 6 PM and finally reached the main darshan area only around 11:30 PM after standing for more than five hours in overcrowded, poorly managed queues. The pushing, sweating, lack of ventilation, and overall crowd control made it one of the most physically exhausting and unpleasant experiences I’ve ever had.
After finally completing the darshan, we then had to stand in another massive queue just to collect ladoos. At midnight they suddenly stopped distribution because of a “shift change,” leaving hundreds of tired devotees waiting even longer. My father stood in line for over an hour more because of this completely inefficient system.
To make things worse, after all this, our driver informed us that vehicles were not allowed to leave the hill until 3 AM. So after an already miserable experience, we were basically stranded there for hours with no proper communication beforehand.
The entire place felt less spiritual and more like a badly managed commercial operation. There seems to be very little concern for devotees’ comfort, dignity, or time anymore. The darshan itself honestly did not feel worth the chaos, exhaustion, and mismanagement.
Very disappointed, especially because this place used to feel much better organized during my previous visits. Never coming back again.
