Not the worst but definitely not the best

点评：On arrival, we were met & brought to our room The Garden Room, it's a good size room, steps down from bathroom to bedroom so not ideal at night. The bed was very comfortable but the room was quite dated, only one bedside lamp, pillows were poor. The bathroom was clean but very worn, with damp timber & plaster work left unfinished. It wouldn't take much to improve the room/bathroom. We had no hot water on arrival, advised staff of this issue and still had none that night. We did however have hot water the next day, I believe there was a pump issue. We ate in the Thai restaurant on Fri night & enjoyed our meal, breakfast was also very good with great choices available. The gardens are nice, tranquil with lots of ferns, more like forest paths than a garden to be honest. The house is a mere 2 min walk down a path to the beach which was my highlight and I enjoyed a couple of swims.
The most disappointing thing for me personally was the amount of un neutered cats wandering around outside the house. I asked about them and was told oh we have around 15, they keep breeding, do you want to take one home? Utterly ludicrous in this day & age to have so many poor animals constantly breeding like that, I saw one heavily pregnant female with an injury above her ear, and a few kittens who will be adding to the colony themselves very soon.....it made me very sad to see them & I'd most likely not return because of it. It's not difficult to neuter your cats & give them a healthy safe life & to help protect the wildlife in the area too.

翻译：到达后，有人接待我们并把我们带到了房间——“花园房”。房间大小还算合适，不过从浴室到卧室有一段台阶，晚间使用不太方便。床铺非常舒适，但房间的陈设显得有些老旧：只有一盏床头灯，枕头的质量也很差。浴室虽然干净，但显得破旧不堪，木制和灰泥装饰部分有受潮迹象且未经修缮。其实只要稍作改进就能让房间和浴室焕然一新。我们抵达时没有热水可用，虽然向工作人员反映了这个问题，但当晚依然没有热水。不过第二天我们就有热水用了，我想应该是水泵出了问题。周五晚上我们在泰式餐厅用餐，体验很不错；早餐也很美味，选择也很多。花园很漂亮且宁静，到处都是蕨类植物，说实话，那里更像是森林小径而非普通花园。从旅馆沿着小路只需两分钟就能走到海滩，这是我最喜欢的地方，我还在那里游了几次泳呢。对我个人来说，最令人失望的就是房子外面有那么多未绝育的猫。我询问了情况，对方回答说：“哦，我们这儿大概有15只猫，它们一直在繁殖呢。你想带一只回家吗？”在如今这个时代，让这么多可怜的动物不断繁殖，实在是荒谬至极。我看到一只怀孕后期的母猫，耳朵上方还有伤痕；另外还有几只小猫，它们很快也会加入这个“猫群”了……看到它们让我非常难过，可能正因为如此我不会再回去了。给猫咪做绝育其实并不难，这样既能让它们过上健康安全的生活，还能帮助保护当地的野生动物。
