Footprint Nature Explorations的点评
点评：We (me (51), my husband, and my daughter (15)) just returned from Footprint's 3 day/2 night kayaking trip in Desolation Sound, and it exceeded every expectation. It was the perfect combination of adventure, relaxation, learning, and incredible scenery.
Our guide, Ava, was outstanding. She was knowledgeable, encouraging, patient, and so much fun to spend time with. She had a way of making everything feel easy, and she completely took away any fear or nervousness we had. By the end of the trip, she felt more like a friend than a guide. I also loved paddling with her partner, Paul. They made a fantastic team and added so much to the experience.
As relatively new kayakers, we always felt safe, supported, and confident. It was obvious how much thought and care went into every part of the trip.
The scenery was breathtaking. Paddling on the ocean, exploring quiet coves, watching wildlife, and camping in such a beautiful place reminded us how incredible the Sunshine Coast is.
The food deserves a special mention. We could not believe the meals Ava prepared and brought with her for the 7 of us! Every meal was fresh, healthy, delicious, and far beyond anything we expected on a camping trip.
Everything was exceptionally well organized, from the equipment to the pacing of each day. It never felt rushed, and there was plenty of time to enjoy the experience.
If you're thinking about booking a kayaking trip with Footprints, do it. We came home with amazing memories, new skills, and a real love for sea kayaking. We would book with Footprints again without hesitation, and we hope to paddle with Ava and Paul again someday.
