A Surprise Train Ride
Queensland Pioneer Steam Railway Co-op Ltd的点评
点评：My wife and I live fairly locally to the Pioneer Railway and we had moved to Queensland not that long ago, so it was great to explore the local area from a different prospective.
On the day the locomotive was a 1600 class diesel which was in tidy condition with period carriages that were in good condition.
Really appreciated the staff being dressed in period uniforms and attire and they were very helpful, answering questions and running things in a pleasant and safe manner.
There was a doughnut van in the carpark (which I understand was not part of the railway as such), good variety of cold drinks and other snacks but no coffee. For these venders what an amazing missed opportunity because everyone seemed to be asking for coffee.
Thought the fare was reasonable considering all the costs associated with running tourist railway.
On the day a good number of people of all various ages were there but not over crowed and parents kept their little ones under control, so all good.
A great place for taking visitors, easy to find and not too far out of Ipswich or that matter anywhere in the Brisbane area.
Looking forward to future trips with family and visiting friends.
