点评:Bangla Sahib Gurudwara is not just a place to visit in Delhi — it is a place to feel. Over the years, I’ve been here many times, both personally and with my groups from across the world as a tour leader, and every single visit leaves me calmer, humbled, and deeply moved.
The moment you step inside, the chaos of Delhi seems to fade away. The serene sarovar, the soothing Gurbani, the fragrance from the langar hall, and the quiet dignity of the volunteers create an atmosphere that is difficult to describe in words. There’s a rare warmth here that makes everyone feel welcome, regardless of religion or background.
One of the most inspiring parts of the experience is witnessing the incredible spirit of seva (selfless service). Seeing volunteers working tirelessly in the massive kitchen, serving food with smiles in the dining hall, cleaning floors, washing utensils — all without expectation — is a lesson in humanity in itself. I often tell my guests that this is one of the most meaningful cultural experiences they will have in India.
The Sikh community’s hospitality and kindness consistently leave a lasting impression on my travelers. Many in my groups walk in curious and walk out emotionally touched.
Weekends, especially Saturdays and Sundays, can get extremely busy, but somehow the place still manages to retain its peaceful soul. If you are visiting Delhi, Bangla Sahib is an absolute must — not as a tourist attraction, but as an experience of faith, community, humility, and human connection.
Every time I bring a group here, it becomes one of the highlights of their India journey. And personally, it remains one of the few places in Delhi where I instantly feel at peace.
