Toured the house with the Victorian Christmas afternoon

点评：I paid a special rate to enjoy crafts, refreshments and a private tour of Sunnyside for the Christmas holidays.
I have to say that I was a little disappointed with the refreshments being standard store bought cookies when I was expecting more of more food items like fresh doughnuts and pastries like had been advertised. They were still good but not what I expected at that price.
The real highlight was the self-guided tour of the house. It was all decked out for the holidays and was decorated in pre-Civil War decorations and not the garish Victorian ones. The tour guides were excellent and could not have been more informative or nicer.
I loved looking at the food displays in both the kitchen and in the dining room set for Christmas lunch. It was elaborate and detailed and felt like you had been invited by the family to stop by for a visit.
The crafts area was a lot of fun where you could create pumice, Christmas ornaments and Christmas crackers. I thought it was a fun day and the perfect Christmas activity.
