Wonderful Tour of Sintra, Cascais and the Pena Palace

点评：We had wonderful tour of Sintra, Cascais and the Pena Palace with Lisbon Riders. Our tour guide was Tania, and she was absolutely wonderful. We were picked up from the cruise terminal just as scheduled and taken for the hour drive to Sintra in a very comfortable van. On the drive Tania provided us a great deal of background on Sintra and Portugal in general and answered all of our questions. Once in Sintra, Tania accompanied us to the main square and outlined some of the hilts to see and then let us explore the city. From there we were taken to Cascais where we had time to explore the city after Tania provided us some key points and sites to see in the city. From there we started our drive to the Pena Palace. It was an incredibly busy day but Tania worked her way through traffic for us to get to the Palace before our scheduled time. A key point here is that our tour included tickets to enter the Pena Palace so we could skip the line which was incredibly long. During our walk to the Palace, we stopped at different points so Tania could give us some history and background regarding the palace and the different parts of the palace. We then did the inside tour of the palace and when we exited, Tania was there waiting for us. She then took us to some key vantage points and for a walk around the outside of the tower which had spectacular views. All the while, Tania would be answering all of our questions. At the end of our time at the Palace, Tania took us back to the cruise port and walked us to the entrance. We had a fabulous time and I Highly recommend, if you are looking for a tour of Sintra and the Pena Palace, that you do it with Lisbon Riders. Everything they outlined they would provide was spot on and Tania was a terrific guide
