A debacle and huge waste of time

点评：Ghastly experience on so many levels. We hired a private boat for a larger group. It took almost 2 hours of stuffing around to actually get from the tour meet point to being in the water. I won’t bore readers with the shenanigans about that. On arrival - our group were ferried off the main boat onto smaller boats of 3 people with a guide (loose term here is the kindest description). These boats pottered around searching for turtles and there was no coral. Several of the group were hit in the head by other boats while snorkeling- there were hundreds of other people in this area and it was a total debacle.
I had done my research so avoided this area altogether. Walked about 15 minutes through the island past a large number of eating establishments to the area where the resort is (currently closed). This area has a proper coral reef drop off and plenty of fish. It was choppy conditions but not too bad. Honestly a huge waste of time and effort. Avoid if you have any choice in the decision making.

翻译：真是糟糕透顶的经历，方方面面都让人不忍直视。我们一行人租了一条私人船。从集合点到下水，光是兜兜转转就花了将近两个小时。我就不赘述这其中的种种波折了。到达目的地后，我们被从主船上转移到几艘小船上，每艘船上只有三个人，还有一个导游（这已经是我能想到的最委婉的说法了）。这些小船在附近闲逛，寻找海龟，结果根本看不到珊瑚。浮潜的时候，我们当中好几个人被其他船只撞到了头——当时这片海域还有成百上千的人，场面一片混乱。
我事先做了功课，所以完全避开了这片区域。我步行穿过岛屿，经过许多餐馆，大约15分钟就到了度假村所在的区域（目前度假村已关闭）。这片区域有真正的珊瑚礁断崖，而且鱼类丰富。海面有些波涛汹涌，但还算可以接受。说实话，这次旅行真是浪费时间和精力。如果可以的话，千万别去。
