点评:Once you get past the numerous pizzerias, cafés and tourist shops which abound in Tossa de Mar, you can walk up the gentle, zigzag slope to the old castle and town. It’s worth the walk: the views of the town and the bay are superb. The history of the place is explained in panels- in several languages- and makes for good reading. You can wander freely around the old town and the little houses are very pretty. We were here out of high season (dodging showers rather than masses of tourists) but even so the town is open and lively still. The beach is wide although more a fine gravelly feel than soft sand. There are some pleasure boats offering trips and well marked buoys indicating where it is safe to swim. Even in early October the water was warm enough for a dip! The coastline is really beautiful and the winding streets of the older town very pretty.
