Fabulous views but too busy for us - we will return another time

点评：We had no idea what to expect so stopped on the train on the way back from Monaco and jumped on the 83 bus to the top of the hill.
We were shocked at the amount of tour buses that were up there and the hordes of people. We looked at the views and wandered along some of the lanes but it was just too crowded so we decided, with the heat as well, to come back another time.
I believe the whole village is now just a tourist attraction with only about 20 people actually living there. The rest of it is tourist accommodation and souvenir shops. It was an easy decision to turn around and take the bus back down to the coast. There are far more pleasant villages to visit - it’s a shame that all the tour buses and all the cruise passengers follow the exact same itinerary.
If you do want to walk down, you need proper shoes, not flip flops!

如果你想步行下山，一定要穿合适的鞋子，可别穿人字拖哦！
