点评:Our visit on Feb 13th 2026 was not worth the trouble. People should be aware that most facilities and sites in Eze are currently closed until April. We love history, art, culture and scenery, but the church is closed, the chateau is a hotel and you can only see the hilltop view if you pay 10€ each to enter the exotic garden. Otherwise you'll just find a couple of cafés and very touristy souvenir shops. If you're driving somewhere else, it might be worth a quick stopover. But we travelled by train from Nice. From there you can get the local bus which runs very infrequently (5 times a day!), or the private shuttle service or walk up Niezche's pathway. If you do the latter it's great if you're a good walker, but it really is steep and rocky so you need walking boots - this is not an option for families with young kids or those with mobility issues.
In the high season, Eze will certainly be more lively, but it seems very much a tourist trap with not much to see of great interest . The friendly lady in charge of the feepaying toilets at the carpark did her best to give advice to disappointed visitors about other places of interest to visit - she was probably the highlight of many people's visit to Eze yesterday.
