A great chance to try something new.
El Nino Surf Center的点评
点评：We stayed at THB El CID a few months ago and immediately booked again for July. I was intrigued watching all the water based activities going on in the sea. Having never tried wind surfing etc I fancied a go at paddle boarding as some made it look so easy on the calm waters.
Our friend travelled with us to Mallorca and has experience of these activities so I asked her to supervise me on a paddle board.
The first day was calm but the wind then picked up and we were told that it wasn’t safe to go out as the wind was blowing out to sea. The next day we checked and the conditions were good to go.
It cost €10 for what looked like a great board complete with ankle strap and oar.
I had great fun and after an hour of falling in and getting back onboard I was shattered.
I managed to stand up a couple of times for 2-3 seconds before falling in while my friend soon got her balance and paddled around while standing up. Maybe next time I’ll find my balance but it hasn’t put me off.
Overall a great company with friendly helpful staff.
There were lockers to leave personal items and a couple of outdoor showers to rinse the sand off.
I don’t know much about the equipment but it all seemed top quality with a wide selection of paddle boards and wind surfing kit plus kite, sail and powered boards.
I watched from my balcony two men receive a wind surfing lesson which seemed very comprehensive and at the end of it both were managing to sail around the bay.
Whether you are a beginner like me with a wish to try something or an experienced boarder I think you will love this place.
