Atacama Desert Stargazing的点评
点评：Went April 17th 2026 (new moon) with my mum and my friend.
EXCELLENT - would do it again!
We did SET 3 option on 17th April which was a new moon (great dark sky for stargazing).
Jorge picked us up on time from our hotel and we started the stargazing on his property at 7:30pm on the dot.
Ponchos were provided so we all had an extra layer to keep warm as we sat outside for the duration of the tour. Recommend wearing lots of layers as it gets very cold at night.
We started with the interactive lecture which was very interesting. This went for about 90mins or so. We enjoyed it because we were interested in learning about history and how telescopes work. We could see shooting stars throughout this, and the exquisitely clear Milky Way above us.
We then had dinner around 10pm, which was an incredible and delicious spread prepared by Jorge’s assistant (?wife?). Cheese, meat, crackers, fruit, pizzas, guacamole, savoury crepes, cookies, sweet pancakes (SO TASTY!) and a very yummy vegetable soup. There were plenty of options for my vegetarian friend. There was also a huge number of drinks to choose from - variety of alcohols, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water. And there was a fire for while we ate. Then we went back to the telescopes to see more of the stars. We ended with the Astro photos and if I have any regrets, it is that we didn’t ask for more!
Jorge then dropped us all back at our hotels and we could pay the balance by cash or card.

晚上10点左右，我们吃了晚餐，Jorge的助手（可能是妻子？）准备了一顿丰盛美味的晚餐。奶酪、肉类、饼干、水果、披萨、牛油果酱、咸味可丽饼、曲奇、甜煎饼（超级好吃！），还有一碗非常美味的蔬菜汤。我的素食朋友也有很多选择。饮品种类也非常丰富——各种酒类、咖啡、茶、热巧克力、水。我们用餐时还围着篝火。之后我们又回到望远镜前继续观测星空。最后我们拍了星空照片，如果说有什么遗憾的话，那就是我们当时没多要几张！
之后，豪尔赫把我们都送回了酒店，我们可以用现金或刷卡支付余款。
