Little regard for H&S at The Bridgewater Hall - my ears have barely recovered!

点评：Terrible experience at Band on the Wall event at The Bridgewater Hall on 18th December - London African Gospel Choir. When the band and musicians struck up it was absolutely deafening! Audience members were taking earplugs off the ushers and seeking refuge at outside. Staff said that there had been no sound checks and when the music was finally turned down - 20 minutes later! - the staff said it had been turned down by 20 decibels! At half the volume it was still loud, and so badly mixed you couldn't hear the lyrics. The levels were all wrong so a guitar was overpowered everything else. We asked for a refund when we left before the interval and were told to write in. The Bridgewater Hall said we had to ask Band on the Wall for a refund. Band on the Wall said everyone else thought it was fine. So, no proper regard for health and safety, paid for concert that it was impossible to listen to, night ruined, ears ringing for several hours afterwards, and no refund. Do not recommend!
