If you are interested in majapahit history then visit - if not don’t bother as it is a waste of time

点评：I rate it 3/5 for a simple reason - it is only interesting for local Indonesians or people who live in the region that was once under the majapahit empire . If you only heard of this empire only in Indonesia as a visitor , you shouldn’t bother .
Firstly, it is a bit out of the way to visit , secondly if you visit , all the Information are in Indonesian and you won’t understand the context of the civilization. Thirdly the sites are artefacts are so poorly marked and explained that it is just a jumble to you . As such I would only recommend if you are interested about history , have deep pockets to hire a driver and a non Indonesian speaking tour guide as well as you are willing to sa drive the better kart if a day to visit 4-5 outdoor poorly marked sites and the main museum . All of these are about 1.5hours away from Surabaya.
