点评:On a perfect Spring day, I drove over to Ridley Creek from where I'd been staying in Chadds Ford, hoping to find a level paved trail through woods where I could take my wheelchair. The 4-mile Multi-Use Trail seemed like my best bet, and I did about half of it. There were shaded sections and sunlit (in summer, they'd be sun-baked), and because it was a glorious day I had a wonderful time. Healthy hikers will love everything about the park, not just the Multi-Use Trail but all the many trails through deep woods; For those with mobility issues -- especially if the front wheels to their mobility device are less than, say, about 8-inches in diameter -- only the Multi-Use Trail (MUT) will be accessible because of the many stones and roots, and even the MUT has cracks every 10-15 feet or so that often need to be navigated with care. Still....a genuinely MAGICAL day outdoors.
