Filthly windows which the staff cant be bothered to clean so tourists may take decent photos

Hi
On Monday 4th May as a party of English tourists on a 5-star Corsica RAIL tour experience we travelled on the Calvi to Ille Rousse train at approx. 9.40.
The train was very crowded – with standing room only. I have no problem with that – its part of the authentic tourist experience.
However, what is UNFORGIVABLE IS THE FILTHY STATE OF THE TRAIN WINDOWS, which makes it difficult to take clear photos, please see attached photos evidence. I DON’T think THEY HAVE BEEN CLEANED FOR MONTHS.
Yesterday we travelled from Ponte Vecchia to Ajaccio – wonderful trip with clean windows. Please say well done to that team’
However, in England we have saying – A chain is only as strong as its weakest link”
In my opinion the Calvi station staff – where there seem to be at least 3 of them, with very little to do are guilty of spoiling the valued experience for tourists
With the war in Iran – tourism is likely to drop off. Surely you can’t afford to let the Calvi staff ruin the experience for the rest of the island. The sad thing is that the solution will not cost thousands of Euros – just a little soap and water – and a pride in their workplace
For the sake of fairness, I am prepared to allow you 10 days to respond to this email before posting it to Tripadvisor
