Winery Stilianou的点评
点评：A favorite of ours since first moving to Crete a decade ago, this fantastic family winery is without a doubt the best on the island, and perhaps anywhere in Greece. The reputation Ioannis Stilianou has carved out for his family moves forward as his talented son takes over.
Heralded by the New York Time's Eric Asimov for their white/dry Theon Dora, heralded by the New York Times’s Eric Asimov in 2018, and again in 2021 for the winemaker's reds, every visit here reminds me of why Crete is so beloved in the first place. Stilianou is a friend to everyone, and dedicated to perfection in everything he does.
On this visit we met a wonderful couple from Vancouver, Canada, and share a wine and olive oil tasting experience looking out over the vineyards and Lasithi Plateau in the distance. For wine lovers, or those interested in how the best organic wines are made, this is a bucket list destination in Central Crete.
