A real German brewpub. Decent food, too.
Grimm Brothers Brewing的点评
点评：This is actually the second time I have visited this brewpub, each a year apart when participating in an annual event in Loveland area. it's one of my favorite brewpubs. The venue is in a former tech company campus. The room is a bit spartan, an open space with a bar and window for food pickup at one side. There is bar seating and tables of various sizes and heights with wooden tops. The food menu is a bit limited, but what they serve, they do well. I had a smash cheeseburger that was one of the best I've ever had. What really sells this place is the beer: It's primarily German style beers in considerable variety. We tried two (yes, two!) different 'Alt' varieties. both were excellent and true to the type. We also sampled their 'pre-prohibition' recipe beer out of historical interest. As I suspected, it's a standard American lager reflective, I suppose, of the actual style in the US up to 1919. it's refreshing to go into a craft brewery and not see a list of IPAs. Grimm Brothers provides a place for those who understand and appreciate the German traditions.
