点评:This is a neat little museum at the south end of the Cancun Hotel Zone, built adjacent to ruins of an ancient Mayan fishing village with a small temple pyramid. It's a nice jungle oasis amidst the developed concrete , lawns, and hibiscus hedges of the hotel properties. The hall contains original Mayan pottery and artifacts and an art exhibit, unfortunately the plaques are all in Spanish, but that's no obstacle for modern phones. They can translate photographed text.
The entrance fee is 90 pesos for visitors over 12 y.o.
Once you leave the hall, you can walk on the paths among the ruins under the ficus trees, scaring the iguanas, big and small, some are the size of small dragons and you will see at least a dozen on the walk.
Of all the touristy things to do in Cancun, I wanted to support this one the most, so we went there several times, as it was located across the road from the hotel, and really was the only place I visited on this trip that didn't try to upcharge a foreign tourist ;)
