点评：O.k so the bowling was fine, kids had a great time. Drinks a bit on the expensive side, well very expensive side at £3 for a small bottle of Ribena!
But what really got to me was the arcade.
In our group there were 5 children and 6 adults. Us adults were giving the children money hand over fist because they all REALLY wanted to win a stuffed toy from one of the grab machines.
Now these stuffed toys wern't bigger than 15cm and nothing particularly special. For the longest time all of the children played over and over and over and they were SO good at it too, picking up the toys by there heads and lifting them clean out of the other toys but EVERY time the grabber claw let go. I mean I get how it works, not everyone is going to win a prize but for the sheer amount of money put in that machine you'd think that at least ONE would have come out??? The machines are set SO poorly with probably a 1 in 100 chance of getting anything out, IF that!
So 5 dissapointed children who must have put at LEAST £20 in that machine and didn't get a single one of the toys that probably cost you less than £1 each! Surely it would be kinder to the kids to set the win rate higher, even if it means lowering the quality of the toys so you can still grab your precious profits!
On a recent trip to Weston-super-Mare, EVERYONE in our group came away with great prizes plus lots of smaller stuff like keyrings and sweets. And THAT is how it should be done.
Shame on you Hollywood Bowl.

最近我们去了一趟韦斯顿-苏珀-梅尔，我们团里每个人都赢得了丰厚的奖品，还有很多小玩意儿，比如钥匙扣和糖果。这才是正确的做法。
好莱坞保龄球馆，你们太让人失望了。
