点评:An interesting museum covering the history of many different types of design, from textiles to Samuri swords! I particularly enjoyed the displays about logos/branding, and the huge variety of chairs! There is a lot to look at and the interpretation is in both Danish and English. The building runs around a courtyard, so you pass through all the galleries around the ‘square’. I spent an enjoyable couple of hours looking around. The only downside is the lack of seating - there were no seats in any of the galleries (although, weirdly, there are sofas outside the toilets, where there’s nothing to look at) which, as someone with a disability who can’t stand for long periods, made it a rather painful physical experience. Also, it’s just nice to sit and take in the exhibits sometimes! I would have stayed longer had there been seating. The member of staff in the ticket office was very friendly, helpful and chatty. You can’t take bags into the museum but there are free lockers to store them in.
