Nightmare Trip on The Murray Princess

点评：I'm sorry I didn't write this 18mths ago, as I went on this Cruise for 7 days in 2023, but unfortunately wasn't given this time option.
I thought what was the point as all Paddle boats must run on Diesel & that this was the price you paid if stuck in your cabin.
Now after being diagnosed with a lung disease two months after the trip, I only now was googling if this was the case.
I came down with Covid after one night on the boat & was the only one who requested a Covid test & was honest about it as there were a lot of sick people on the boat & was told by our Tour operator that was the case when having meals delivered to my Cabin for 5 days.
Whilst being trapped in my cabin, every time we pulled into a port, toxic fumes were pumped into the bathroom vent and as the door was open at the bottom, filled my cabin. At one stage I put on a mask and went outside on my balcony, where I saw the Captain & asked if it was Diesel & he replied that it was & came down to inspect & apologised. I have now read that this was due to not being serviced & was very dangerous & should have been reported. I would not recommend this trip to anyone.
On top of all this, my bed was rock hard & I have a very bad back & could not sleep on it, they did however stop at one of the ports & buy me a mattress topper, which helped a little, but for me especially being locked up with Covid in a dungy diesel filled cabin was a nightmare & I paid around $6,000 for this dreadful trip with Aurora Coach Tours 😡
