点评：We have not been to Slimbridge for 35 years or more since our children were young. As WWT members and staying for a short break in Tetbury we thought it would be good to revisit this first reserve of the World Wetlands Trust. Whilst there is no doubt the centre now has better food facilities and is a lot more child friendly having spotted two new playgrounds there has been little change to the content. We understood why there was only one otter but the variety of birds on display had not to our mind changed. It is more wheelchair and disabled friendly, but whilst we wait for the winter migration a few more birds to see would have been ideal. Still what there was well presented and well cared for. The volunteers were young, friendly and reasonably informed, but as what should be the flagship of the WWT we were a tad underwhelmed.
