Amazing diving experience in Bocas at Bocas Dive Center

点评：I had an amazing dive experience at Bocas Dive Center because the staff made the experience wonderful. I am preparing to do my dive master course so I booked 16 dives over 9 days with this shop.
First, the communication prior to the visit with Rodrigo, the Dive Shop Manager was prompt and professional. Upon arrival, I was impressed with the facilities at the shop as everything is clean, well organized and the equipment is well taken care of. The dive boats are just as impeccable.
What really impressed me was the professionalism and passion of the Dive Masters/Instructors. Both Kelly and Modesto are kind and friendly people who are passionate about providing a memorable and well informed experience. It is clear they take their roles very seriously and put time and care into each and every pre dive briefing to ensure all safety measures are covered and everyone is clear on the dive plan. No corners are cut. They both provide good guidance and tips to help occasional divers with their technique. Time and care is put into the debrief as well to go through flora and fauna that was observed which often leads to discussions about reef conservation and ecology.
The operation goes the extra mile and provides towels on the boat, fruit/water/coffee between dives and has convenient showers and lockers right on the dock.
Shout out to Freddy, the boat operator. He ensured a safe comfortable passage day and night, regardless of conditions, and helped out divers on the boat.
My girlfriend has seen poor conditions on tourist scuba / snorkel tours that made her hesitant to try scuba. However, she was impressed by Bocas Dive Center and Rodrigo took her himself on a discovery dive experience and completely won her over thanks to his patience and professionalism. I can’t say enough about how the experience invigorated my passion and appreciation of diving and the wonderful micro biology of the area.
