点评:I came here in 1997 when the critically endangered Filipino eagle and other rare birds were in black 3x3 boxes in the baking sun at the top of the island. We were on a working trip and the only visitors to the entire island. It was grim. I see there are reviews here reporting caged birds (including an eagle) as late as 2018. I sent in a full report with photos to the local SPCA, but heard nothing back. I'm following it up, so anyone who took a recent photo of the caged birds if you could post, I'd most appreciate it. Mine are too old to count now. I found some online from 2013 / 14. Our fixer said it was illegal to keep Filipino eagles caged, so I'd like to get it checked out. Illegal or not, the birds looked like they'd given up the will to live when I saw them. It's been decades, but I haven't forgotten. Happy travels.
