毕翠克丝·波特的山顶房子的点评
点评：We absolutely loved our visit to Beatrix Potter’s House!
I was super excited to see it in our National Trust book that her house was part of it!
The house itself is so beautiful, quaint and incredibly well kept. It was lovely to see how she lived and learn more about her life.
The gardens were my favourite! I loved the little quotes on the spades as you walk around were such a lovely touch. I especially loved the vegetable garden, which was actually the inspiration for some of her books — how incredibly special is that?!
The location itself is just so heart-warming. You really do feel like you’ve stepped straight into one of her books, and it’s such a lovely experience for both adults and children.
There are toilet facilities, car parking, a gift shop and a little drinks and snack wagon on site. There’s also a pub right next door, which is perfect for grabbing something to drink afterwards.
A really lovely place to visit, especially if you grew up loving Beatrix Potter as much as I did!
