点评:Thinking that a tour around the little village would only take a short time, we ended up spending 4 hours there. It is a beautiful place and there is so much to do from Model railways, to a free aquarium, which is small and interesting. It relys entirely on donations. Then we came to the pinnacle of our exploration. The Megavissi Museum, this is a hidden gem, we saw it and when we looked at it, it said £2.00 entrance (I would have been happy to have paid £5.00), so when you go in, you are greeted by volunteers, who gave a sheet that explained some of the points behind these exhibits. When we entered, we thought we would be back out in 10 minutes, wrong. The museum is over three floors, it contains so much history, that it kept us occupied for over an hour. The volunteers are so knowledgeable that we were told all about the things we did not know. So if you like the sea, History, Victorians the War or even banking and so much more than this is the place for you. When we went in, we just kept saying, remember having one of those, or My nana had that. We had a wonderful time in the museum and thanks for all the information. The harbour area has loads of shops and even a short walk out held some nice surprises. It is just a short drive from St. Austell.
