Great staff but disorganized
Scubafish Dive Center Ltd的点评
点评：Overall, we had a good experience with Scubafish Zanzibar. The drivers transporting us from our hotel to the dive center were friendly and generally on time, which made the logistics easy and stress-free. From the start, everyone we interacted with was welcoming and kind.
The team at the dive center was also great. The dive masters were professional and personable — special shoutout to Eva, who guided us on all of our dives. He was fantastic: calm, knowledgeable, and made us feel very comfortable underwater.
The marine life was enjoyable to see. We spotted large schools of small fish, octopus, and other reef life, which made for some really fun dives.
That said, there were a few things that could be improved. We were often picked up from our hotel quite early, only to wait around the dive center for 30–40 minutes before actually heading out. It left us wondering why the pickup time needed to be so early. Additionally, departures from the dive center felt somewhat disorganized. There seemed to be multiple people trying to coordinate logistics, and at times it felt a bit hectic and unclear who was managing what.
As certified divers, we were also surprised to learn that dive locations were determined based on accommodating snorkelers. While we understand the need to manage mixed groups, this limited the dive sites available to us, even though there are 20+ sites in the area. For divers looking for more variety or more advanced sites, I would strongly recommend paying for a private boat to have a more tailored experience.
Overall, the staff was genuinely kind and professional, but for the price paid, I personally would have preferred a more seamless and organized experience.
