点评:There's a lot to see here (to put it mildly) so you have to focus. The building is beautiful, inside and out. It was cloudy the day we went and the reflections on the outside were gorgeous. Inside the walls are made of a warm undulating wood. The absolutely coolest thing is that your ticket has a QR code that changes the information display to English - Estonia really is at the forefront of technology. Both of us have USSR experience from the 80s, so we spent a lot of time with those artifacts and our memories. There's also a very interesting section about the history of cloth dyeing, spinning and weaving. I was surprised by a vitrine about "the clothing of married Estonian women", especially the headdresses. There are military awards, videos of people recounting their memories ("When we were sent to Siberia..."). Artifacts from the last century of housing. The thing is to allow plenty of time and don't expect to see it all. It's easy to get there on the bus but they also have a huge parking lot. After our visit we strolled around outside and looked at the old distillery and the water birds and the lilacs. Very nice day altogether!
