点评:As the name suggests, this is a museum from the republican side and POV. I think it is important to see it from both sides of the event (and filter it with our own analysis). As this museum has very short opening hours (10am - 2pm during my visit in April), I thought I would give it a priority.
The place is set up with a main area with a side room full of books and research materials. The main display is more like a collection of small (and various larger) items which the operator has collected (or through donations) during the Troubles period. It is important that some basic knowledge of their history is known before appreciating these displays. A lot of very small but meaningful items form their daily lives are shared including photo albums. It is more a micro display of what happened during the period rather than a usual generic event run through as you would expect from a museum visit.
A worth while visit indeed.
