Not a true airboat ride! Too expensive and boring.

点评：I signed up for an entertaining airboat ride. I explained to the the receptionist that I have boats and I want an experience that I can't get in a normal boat. I wanted a true airboat ride that would glide in the back areas going over grass and trails that normal airboat rides are known for. I specifically said, now I don't want to get finished and say wow that was an expensive boat ride, I could have done almost all of that in a pontoon boat. Well that is exactly what we got, we spent $500 for the family of 8 to go see a dozen alligators and we never left the main waterway, 80% of the ride was with other boats and pontoon boats around. It was more like a loud pontoon boat ride, no thrill , just a ride to see a few gators. Zero true airboat ride experience going in true marshy areas like a nature trail that most airboat tours are known for. Honestly it was down right boring since it's not what a true airboat ride experience is supposed to be. If you've never been on a boat and never seen an alligator, and it's worth $500 to see a few on a loud boat ride then go for it. For those that want a true fun airboat ride gliding over wet areas like a back country nature trail with what they are designed to do then this definitely isn't it. Definitely mislead, I called ahead to make sure that we weren't just going to stay on the main waterway and this is exactly what I was afraid of. Boring at it's best.. atleast no one was hurt,, but then again, the boat didn't go fast enough for that. .. urghhh very disappointed and embarrassed by family since it was more of an expensive $500 yawn.
