Disappointing Experience

点评：Some friends recommended this spot to us, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. We were seated at the bar, and maybe that was part of the issue. It was quite busy, with both indoor and outdoor seating filled.
The wine itself was just mid. Our server didn’t seem knowledgeable about what she was pouring, and when it comes to wine tasting, that makes a huge difference. A big part of the experience is learning about the wines. You’re there for the story, the vineyard, the tasting notes and none of that really came through.
My boyfriend is a bit of a wine snob (in the best way), and usually, if he enjoys the experience, he buys enough bottles to waive both of our tasting fees. This time, though, nothing really stood out or felt worth it. I’m sorry, but there’s so much more that goes into serving wine than just pouring it. You have to sell the wine and make people fall in love with it. Unfortunately, that spark was missing here. This is a one and done experience for us.
