Hotham Valley Tourist Railway的点评
点评：Started out promising but went downhill fast. The young waiter was fantastic – polite, attentive, actually trying. Unfortunately the older chap completely ruined the experience and was very rude. He managed to knock over my husband’s wine, drenching his brand-new iPhone and jeans… and didn’t even apologise, let alone offer a replacement drink.
The food didn’t save the night either. Average at best, and the beef was like chewing on an old welly.
The whole painful journey dragged on for 3 hours and 20 minutes. At the end of the line we sat there for 45 minutes doing nothing. When I asked what was happening, I was told the driver was having his dinner. ridiculous.
Then there was the toilet. It was disgusting. The light wasn’t working so I was told to use the torch on my phone. I had to paddle through liquid on the floor, which I can only assume was other people’s urine. At that point I actually missed my daily work commute — at least the food is better and the facilities actually function.
Save your money!
