Northycote Farm and Country Park的点评
点评：We have visited Northycote Tea Rooms many times in the past, so it was really disappointing to have such a poor experience this time.
The service was abrupt from the start. We ordered three iced coffees, but they arrived as warm, milky coffees with no ice and weren’t even cold. When I politely asked for some ice, I was told there had been ice in them when they were served. I explained that, considering how warm they were, there clearly wasn’t any ice left, especially as I could see the drinks currently being made had plenty of ice in them. Instead of understanding, I was tutted at, which I found quite rude. Eventually, I was given two cups of ice to add myself.
The children’s meals were also disappointing. We’ve had them here many times before, but this visit the portions seemed much smaller. One meal consisted of just three chicken nuggets with a small handful of chips and some beans. The cheese sandwich was served on a hot plate with a cherry tomato, a sliver of red onion and a couple of pieces of lettuce. It was also missing the homemade coleslaw that is normally included.
Afterwards, we went to look at the animals, which was upsetting. Many of the chickens appeared to be in poor condition. The pig looked neglected, with no visible water and only a few pellets of food. The ducks were all sitting on the ground, hardly moving, with no food available and only a very small trough of water that wasn’t large enough for them to bathe or swim in.
Overall, this was a very disappointing visit. The poor customer service, decline in the quality of the food and concerns about the welfare of the animals mean we won’t be rushing back.

之后，我们去参观了动物们，这一幕让人心里很难受。许多鸡的状态看起来很差。那只猪也似乎被疏于照料——没有可见的饮用水，只有少量饲料颗粒。那些鸭子则全都呆坐在地上，几乎一动不动。没有任何食物可供食用，只有一个极小的饮水槽，连让动物们洗澡或游泳都不够。
总的来说，这次参观令人非常失望。糟糕的客户服务、食物质量的下降，以及对动物福利的担忧，都让我们不打算再光顾了。
