Crystal Lake trail的点评
点评：This hike nearly killed me but I made it. It’s up up up for the first mile. It might be easy for some but the altitude got me. It’s 9900’. Anyway it had spectacular views of George lake and Mary lake and then when you got to crystal lake you just about couldn’t believe your eyes. It was BEAUTIFUL. We took our dog and she did really well. She is a golden doodle and loves to hike. There were a lot of dogs on the trail that were off leash and that really torqued me. People need to keep their dogs on leash when they’re on trails like that because one of the dogs that was off leash ended up snapping pretty hard at our dog. People just don’t think… aside from that the trail was good, well maintained and easy to navigate. You do have to watch where you’re going because there are lots of rocks and roots to climb over. And like I said, it’s up up up and up. Bring lots of water and wear a hat. There’s a lot of shade, but there’s also a lot of open sun and it gets hot. Once you’re at crystal lake, you have many places to choose from to stop and swim or fish or whatever you want to do. Our dog enjoyed swimming so much that she didn’t want to leave. If you’re doing this hike on your first day at this elevation, you might want to think about changing the day and allow yourself to acclimate to the high elevation. If I would’ve done that, I don’t think it would’ve been as hard on me. The hike was so worth reward at the end…. Even though I complained to my husband the whole climb to the top!
翻译：这次徒步差点要了我的命，但我还是坚持下来了。最初一英里全是上坡路。对有些人来说可能不算什么，但高海拔让我吃不消。那里的海拔有9900英尺呢。不过沿途的风景真是绝美：乔治湖和玛丽湖的美景令人陶醉；而当你抵达水晶湖时，简直不敢相信自己的眼睛——那里实在太美了！我们带上了狗狗，它表现得相当出色。它是一只金毛寻回犬混血，特别喜欢徒步。不过小径上有很多没拴绳的狗，这真让我很不爽。在那样的步道上，人们必须给狗狗拴上牵引绳，因为有一只没拴绳的狗竟然狠狠地咬了我们家的狗。有些人就是不考虑后果……不过这条步道本身不错，维护得也很好，很容易行走。只是得留意脚下的路，因为有很多石头和树根需要跨过。正如我所说，一路都是上坡。记得带上足够的水并戴上帽子。沿途有不少阴凉处。不过这里也有很多阳光直射的地方，天气会变得很热。一旦到达水晶湖，你有很多地方可以停下来游泳、钓鱼或做任何其他想做的事。我们的狗狗特别喜欢游泳，以至于都不想离开了。如果你是在到达高海拔地区的第一天就进行这次徒步，或许应该考虑改天再走，让自己先适应高海拔环境。如果我当时那样做了，我想就不会觉得那么吃力了。这次徒步真的值得——最后的回报太令人满足了…. 尽管在攀登全程我都向丈夫抱怨个不停！
