点评:We visited on our way to Queenstown and first of all - and last of all - had a look at the gift shop.
We had the misfortune of being (not) served by a dark haired lady who seemed to be inconvenienced by our presence even though we were the only people in the shop. We were intending to buy several gold related items and a ticket to the gold mine tour. We therefore asked her a couple of questions about the gold but first she ignored us and then she was dismissive - in fact, downright rude.
We have read other reviews about this same lady and would like to know why she is still representing your company. She is the first person people will come across and we were definitely not going to stay at a place where we weren’t welcome.
Such a shame as we have been all over New Zealand and have never encountered such rudeness. We had been looking forward to finding out about the history of this iconic mine but we will now do so on line or visit another similar site where I am sure we will be treated with more respect.
