The most amazing day you can spend in Wimborne!
Wimborne Model Town的点评
点评：We spent the day at Wimborne Model Town and it was absolutely fascinating. The detail that has gone into modelling all the streets and shops that existed back in the 50's is truly amazing along with the flowers, plants and gardens. We enjoyed the Bear room with all the Bear scenarios and the Dolls houses and reminders of what life was like in previous decades. The Model Train Railway system was beyond belief, it was so detailed and clever. We enjoyed coffee in the cafe when we arrived and had a delicious lunch later sitting outside in the sunshine. We had an interesting conversation with Chris, one of the volunteers who gave us such an insight into what the model represents and how they look after the place. The Minster with the wedding ceremony depicted inside and the drummer hanging at one of the tower windows who hits his drums at the quarter hour was spectacular. Well worth spending a day there. And congratulations to all those wonderful volunteers who give of their time to keep the place going. I wish I lived nearer.
